Blending traditional Appalachian music with blues,
country, gospel and bluegrass, Doc’s unique style
has awed listeners for almost fifty years. A powerful
singer and influential picker, Doc virtually invented
the art of playing mountain fiddle tunes on the
flattop guitar.
Doc’s recording career includes collaborations
with some of America’s musical greats, including
